Tailgate Soft Close Motor Actuator

This listing is for a soft/self close motor actuator for the Range Rover Sport L494 tailgate.

This is the motor that pulls your tailgate closed avoiding the need to slam your tailgate - this gently pulls your tailgate closed.

Not all models were fitted with "soft close" but if your car originally had it and it does not work anymore it is most likely this motor has broken

The actuator locates and fixes using the 3 long silver pins to sit behind the tailgate trim panel.

The length of cord attached to the actuator is 40cm.

This is a brand new OE item; engineering number: DK62-404C10-AE, part number: LR095551.

Retrofitting soft close is possible but it requires a new lock mechanism.
