Replacement Rear Light Assembly (RIGHT)

to fit BMW Mini 2004 -2006 ( with reverse in lamp )

This listing is for a replacement rear light for a BMW Mini.

This is a RIGHT hand rear light ( also called drivers side or offside in the UK ) - see pictures.

This is a complete rear light assembly including rear lens / reflector / housing / mounting foam gasket / fixing bolt etc .

There are no bulbs or wiring included with this light but it is fully compatible with your existing bulbs.

This part is E Marked and fully road legal in the UK

This is not a genuine BMW / Mini part.

This part is an alternative to Mini Part Number 63217166956

This lamp will fit all Mini one and cooper models 2004 -2006

Please note this lamp does not have the FOG light function - it is for the car with the single central fog light in the bumper.

See our other items if your car has the the reverse light in the middle of the rear bumper as you have the early type lights.
These later type lights can be fitted to the early cars physically ( same shape ) but the problem is the bulb holder board is different and even if you have the late type bulb holder the connector is also different !

Fitting Details

Open the boot and fold down rear seats to give you room to work.

Remove boot trim panel ( unlips ) to expose rear of the tail light.

Undo single retaining bolt ( 10mm socket / spanner )

Remove the lamp holder panel ( unclips )

Give the lamp a sharp push to release from spring clips ( make sure someone is there to catch it )

R50 Cooper R50 One 1.4d R50 One 1.4i R50 One 1.6i R53 Cooper S from 2004 - 2006 ( with reverse light function in rear light )

This lamp WILL NOT fit the convertible models.

This lamp WILL NOT fit the 2007 on models

This lamp WILL NOT fit the 2002 - 2004 models with the reverse light in the middle of the rear bumper - see our other items for these.
